Fostering is a life-changing experience for both you and the dog. By offering a temporary safe haven, you give a rescue dog the time, love, and stability they need to find their forever home.
How Fostering Works
We rescue dogs from the streets and poor conditions across Puerto Rico, often picking them up from heartbreaking situations. Without a facility, we rely on fosters to provide a safe, loving space for our rescues. When a foster isn’t available, we board the dog temporarily or take them home ourselves.
While in foster care, we assess each dog’s health, temperament, and needs to match them with their ideal forever home. If a home isn’t immediately available, we collaborate with sister rescues that have the resources to continue their journey to adoption.
